About this work : This original and very contemporary diptych plays with light, highlighting the brilliance of the gilding leaves as well as the few fine silver glitters juxtaposed with the matte black dripping. The reliefs created by the knife work and the palimpsest technique catch the eye like a sculpted painting, heightening the sensation of touch. The thin 1 cm thick aluminum rods stiffen the support and provide this lightness once the work is installed.

VIBRATIONS will have its first exhibition at WORLD ART DUBAI, which will take place from March 9 to 12, 2023 in DUBAI – UNITED ARAB EMIRATES – WORLD TRADE CENTER DUBAI – STAND MB 08, where I will be delighted to meet you there.

A propos de cette œuvre :  Ce diptyque original et très  contemporain joue avec la lumière valorisant la brillance des feuilles à dorer ainsi que les quelques fines paillettes argentées juxtaposées à la matité du dripping noir . Les reliefs apportés par le travail de l’ œuvre réalisée au couteau et par la technique du palimpseste accrochent l ‘ œil telle une peinture sculptée exacerbant la sensation du touché . Les fines baguettes en aluminium de 1 cm d ‘ épaisseur rigidifient le support et apportent cette légèreté une fois l ‘ œuvre posée .
